The movie has the 47-year-old star playing a 40-year-old Londoner who has never encountered the happiness of sex in his dry, fruitless and lady-less existence. The sight of a few significant others schmoozing affectionately by the roadside makes him stop in his tracks. He's envious of the men who couch ladies, but is himself happily uninformed of what in reality transpires amidst the several once the window ornaments are drawn and lights switched off.
